Cancellation and Refund Policy — HR Health Check (60-Min Mini-Audit + Risk Snapshot)
We keep this simple, and we keep it fair on both sides. The HR Health Check involves significant preparation work — Paulette reviews your contract, headcount, handbook, policies and award list before you ever join the Zoom call. Our cancellation tiers reflect that.
- More than 72 hours before your scheduled call — full refund
If you cancel your HR Health Check more than 72 hours before your scheduled start time, you’ll receive a 100% refund of the $297 + GST you paid. No questions, no friction. Reply to your booking confirmation email or email support@freshhrinsights.com.au and we’ll process the refund within 5 business days.
- Between 48 and 72 hours before your scheduled call — 50% refund
If you cancel between 48 and 72 hours before your scheduled start time, you’ll receive a 50% refund. The remaining 50% covers the preparation work we’ve already started on your file — reviewing your contract, analysing your headcount and structure, working through your policies, and identifying the award questions we’ll need to drill into on the call.
- Less than 48 hours before your scheduled call — no refund
If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled start time, or you don’t show up to the call, the full $297 + GST is forfeited. By this point, we’ve completed the full pre-call review, built the preliminary risk picture, and locked the slot in Paulette’s diary. The 60-minute call is mostly about confirming and explaining what we’ve already found — and we can’t realistically rebook the slot on such short notice.
This is the only way we can keep the Health Check priced at $297 and still do the depth of pre-call review the Risk Snapshot is built on.
- If something genuinely urgent comes up
We’re small business owners too. We get it. If a real emergency stops you making the call — a hospital, a bereavement, something equally serious — reply to your booking email and tell us. We’ll move your slot once at no charge, no questions asked. This is a one-time courtesy and at our discretion.
- If we need to cancel or reschedule
If Paulette needs to reschedule for any reason, we’ll offer you the next available slot or a full refund — whichever you prefer.
- What about the Risk Snapshot if I cancel after the call?
The Risk Snapshot is part of the package — it’s not a separate fee. Once the 60-minute call has happened, you’ll receive your signed and dated Snapshot within 3 business days, regardless of any subsequent contact. If you change your mind about the Snapshot after the call, no refund is available, because the call itself is the bulk of what you paid for.
