Cancellation and Refund Policy — Ad Hoc HR Consultation (60 minutes)

We keep this simple, and we keep it fair on both sides. Here’s how cancellations work.

• More than 48 hours before your scheduled call — full refund
  If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled start time, you’ll receive a 100% refund of the $360 + GST you paid. No questions, no friction. Reply to your booking confirmation email or email support@freshhrinsights.com.au and we’ll process the refund within 5 business days.
• Between 24 and 48 hours before your scheduled call — 50% refund
  If you cancel between 24 and 48 hours before your scheduled start time, you’ll receive a 50% refund. The remaining 50% covers the preparation already underway on your file — reading your intake, reviewing the contracts, policies and other documents you’ve uploaded, and blocking a full hour in Paulette’s diary.
• Less than 24 hours before your scheduled call — no refund
  If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled start time, or you don’t show up to the call, the full $360 + GST is forfeited. By this point Paulette has completed the review and prep work, the hour is locked in, and we can’t realistically rebook it at short notice. This is the same way most professional consultants run short-notice cancellations, and it reflects the genuine preparation and reserved expert time that go into your session before you even join the call.
• If something genuinely urgent comes up
  We’re small business owners too. We get it. If a real emergency stops you from making the call — a hospital, a bereavement, something equally serious — reply to your booking email and tell us. We’ll move your slot once at no charge, no questions asked. This is a one-time courtesy and at our discretion.
• If we need to cancel or reschedule
  If Paulette needs to reschedule for any reason, we’ll offer you the next available slot or a full refund — whichever you prefer.
• How to cancel
  The fastest way is to reply to your Calendly booking confirmation and let us know you need to cancel. You can also email support@freshhrinsights.com.au or call 0452 471 960.
  Refunds are processed within 5 business days back to the original payment method.
