Paulette McCormack is the founder and director of Fresh HR Insights, which she established in 2012. With more than 20 years of human resources experience across both international and national workplaces, she is a driven, positive and highly capable HR specialist who genuinely loves what she does.
Paulette believes that understanding why people do what they do takes more than workplace experience alone — it takes life experience and solid qualifications too. She has all three in abundance, and it’s this combination that makes her a true expert in her field. Her practical, “let’s get in and get it sorted” approach means workplace matters are dealt with quickly and efficiently — always in line with current legislation.
Alongside running Fresh HR Insights, Paulette is a sessional Lecturer, Convenor and Tutor at Griffith University, and recently completed her Bachelor of Laws with Honours (LLB Hons) — a milestone reached over nearly eight years while running her business and teaching. As a qualified Justice of the Peace, she brings an added layer of trust and rigour to her work. It’s this blend of real-world HR practice, academic depth and legal knowledge that allows her to look at HR in a different light, and to give small business owners the confidence to make the right decisions without the legal risk.
